Jim Popp, Raymond Gray and Mark Hutcheson are proud to announce the formation of Popp, Gray & Hutcheson, LLP where we will continue to provide property owners with full service representation throughout the property tax process. Joined by Gilbert Davila and Darlene Sullivan, we remain "The Property Tax Law Firm of Texas," and look forward to working with you on all of your property tax needs. We wish our long time friends and associates, Bill Ikard and Laurie Ratliff, the best of luck as they begin a new phase in their legal careers at Ikard, Wynn & Ratliff.
Also, we are pleased to announce an addition to our team, Sebastian Rodrigano, Director, Complex Appraisal. Until joining Popp, Gray & Hutcheson, Sebastian was employed by Capitol Appraisal Group, and has appraised more than 400 facilities over the past several years. Sebastian will be available to assist all our clients in complex appraisal matters, particularly manufacturing, high tech, and petro-chemical facilities.

Texas Propety Tax Forms:
Most of the forms used in Texas property tax matters may be found on the website of the Texas Comptroller. The Comptroller is the state official responsible for approving general forms for property tax purposes.

Texas AG Issues Opinion Regarding Overlapping Appraisal Districts:
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott issued opinion number GA-0283 on the 15th of December 2004, construing Tex Tax Code
Section 6.025(d) to require chief appraisers in overlapping appraisal districts to use both the
lowest appraised value listed by any of the overlapping districts when entering a value in the
