Blas Joseph Ortiz graduated from Texas State University - San Marcos in 2005, earning a B.S. in Psychology and Political Science. Prior to entering the property tax field, Blas conducted psychopharmacology and neurobiology research at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and UTSA Cajal Institute, respectively.
