Andrew Albright serves a diverse set of commercial property tax clients through the entire protest process—from start to finish. He advocates for his clients at the administrative level in both informal and formal hearings, and he furthers his clients’ positions through arbitration, settlement negotiation and litigation. Andrew focuses on hospitality and retail clients, and he has expertise in hotels, shopping centers, office buildings, and agricultural use properties. He is also a managing member of Popp Hutcheson’s Volunteer and Outreach Committee, which coordinates the firm’s community service activities. Andrew writes for industry and professional publications, most recently publishing an article in the Texas State Bar Tax Section’s quarterly Tax Journal.

Andrew joined Popp Hutcheson in 2017. He earned his B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008. He then earned his J.D. in 2012 from the University of Houston Law Center, where he was a member of the Health Law & Policy Journal and president of the Phi Delta Phi legal organization.
