David Kleyer, CMI, CPA, joined Popp Hutcheson as a tax consultant in 2017. David represents a variety of property types, with an emphasis on retail properties, which include department stores, grocery stores, and shopping centers. Prior to joining Popp Hutcheson, David was a Senior Tax Manager at JCPenney where he handled property tax appeals throughout the country.

David graduated from Murray State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. David holds the CMI designation from the Institute of Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
