Eddie Lucio III serves as the Special Council for Government Affairs for Popp Hutcheson and represents Popp Hutcheson’s clients at the Appraisal Review Board and in District Court.

Eddie attended Texas Tech University on an athletic scholarship and later received a B.B.A. and Law Degree from the University of Texas.

Eddie was admitted to the State Bar in 2005 and has practiced in a variety of areas of civil practice.  Mr. Lucio has worked with a few different firms and in 2009 established his own practice The Lucio III Group, PLLC.

Eddie has been a member of the Texas House of Representatives since 2006. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Calendars Committee and also serves on the Natural Resources Committee and Land and Resource Management Committee.

Eddie was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas and is married to Jaime Barrera Lucio and has two children Olivia Rose and Luc. He is the son of State Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr and Minnie Lucio.
